Why donate ?

Our impact

In 2000, inspired by the universal values of Buddhism, Matthieu Ricard founded Karuna-Shechen. Rooted in altruism in action, the organization supports marginalized communities in the Himalayan region so that they can take action, make decisions, and shape their own future.

Use of your donation

The equivalents shown are for illustrative purposes only. Your donation supports a range of coordinated, ongoing programs. All donations are combined and allocated based on the most urgent needs. The effectiveness of our work depends on the trust you place in us in this regard.
