  • For example, 6 new mothers receive support and counseling during and after their pregnancy. That’s 72 women per year.

I give more impact to my donation by adding a contribution dedicated to cover fundraising fees.

Our impact

In 2000, inspired by the universal values of Buddhism, Matthieu Ricard founded Karuna-Shechen. Rooted in altruism in action, the organization supports marginalized communities in the Himalayan region so that they can take action, make decisions, and shape their own future.
